Does Zoom allow you to have two meetings scheduled at the same time initiated from the same account? IE two 50 person meetings at 6pm? Go to Solution. Licensed users on Enterprise, Business, and Education accounts can host up to 2 meetings at the same time.

Both meetings need to be started by the original meeting host or by an alternative host. The host can leave the meeting and pass host privileges to another user if needed. View solution in original post. Hi tschultz89 , It is possible, but it depends on your account type. You can find out more about hosting concurrent meetings. Our tests have not shown a limit to the number of meetings that can be in one user account as long as there are different folk to host them.

For instance, we have successfully run and recorded to cloud 5 concurrent meetings each with a different alternative host on one user account. Since this time, I’ve encountered the same limit as others. We have not made any changes to the account that should have caused this. I think zoom is “correcting” things. Concurrent means the same user hosting more than one meeting at the same time. Every user on your account can host their own meeting at the same time, but none of them can have two or more active meetings assigned to the same user at the same time unless they have the add-on license for concurrent meetings.

If this has answered your question, please click the Accept as Solution button below so that others in the Community may benefit as well. Our admin staff schedule a lot of meetings for groups and on behalf of execs and are running into the 2 meeting limitation.

Does anyone have any guidelines for joining 2 Zoom meetings? Like turning off a camera if you need to come off mute and speak in the other meeting? I’ve seen some folk be able to show their camera feed and microphone to more than one meeting. That is not my experience. I’ve noticed if I want to talk or be seen in one meeting, I need to turn my camera and mic off in the other meeting first.

They allow the participants to meet in smaller groups, and are completely isolated in terms of audio and video from the main session.

Breakout rooms can be used for collaboration and discussion of the meeting. See the Participating in breakout rooms help article for more information. You can also test your video or audio while in a Zoom meeting.

See the Joining a test meeting help article for more information. Participants who are unable to install Zoom can join a meeting or webinar using the Zoom web client on their desktop web browser. The Zoom web client offers limited functionality. The Join from your browser link will appear after the user clicks on the link to join the meeting. You can automatically include a Join from your browser link or you can require participants to attempt to download Zoom first.

To do this, you will have to create a registration form for your meeting. If you are a busy person and would like to grant someone else, e.

They can then schedule meetings on your behalf and act as an alternative host for your meetings. During a Zoom meeting, you can share your screen with other attendees to better explain your concepts. You can choose to share your entire desktop, a specific window or a portion of your screen. Note that the host can prevent participants from accessing screen sharing. When you are sharing your screen or whiteboard, you can allow participants to collaborate on annotation.

See how to enable annotation for meetings. A toolbar will then appear and you can add text, drawings, arrows, etc. When you are muted or when you are in a big meeting, you can now use meeting reactions to show your feedback using an emoji without interrupting the meeting. The emoji will appear at the top left of your window so that others can see your feedback.

The Emoji will disappear after 5 seconds. Zoom also supports a lot of keyboard shortcuts to save your time on actions that you are likely to perform frequently. Sometimes people might just forget to mute their audios. To help keep the communication clear, the host of a meeting has the option to mute everyone in the meeting at once. Zoom also provides lots of integrations with the tools that your team might be using. Some integrations that we like at Kipwise include:. After the meeting ends, you can see the duration and participant summary of the meeting and share the Zoom meeting recordings easily.

You can schedule a meeting using Zoom using your calendar client as explained and shown above , or you can schedule a meeting via the Zoom app. To do this, you can start a new meeting in the moment by clicking “New Meeting,” or clicking “Schedule Meeting” to book a Zoom meeting for the future:.

Then, you can edit the details of your meeting — for example, you can schedule a recurring meeting, set a meeting password, and choose which calendar you want to sync. Once you’re in a Zoom meeting, you can use features like turning your video and microphone settings on and off, inviting other meeting participants, chatting with other meeting participants, recording the meeting, and sharing your screen.

Now that you understand the basics of Zoom, use these pro tips for getting the best possible experience. To address Zoom security issues, Zoom has outlined its security and privacy features. We’ve explained some of these privacy features below. Zoom bombing, or Zoombombing, occurs when an uninvited individual gains access to your Zoom meeting. They join the Zoom session with the intent to disrupt the meeting.

Luckily, Zoom bombing can be prevented by enabling Zoom’s privacy settings. When you schedule a new meeting, under the Password section, click the checkbox next to Require meeting password.

This allows you to type in a strong password that you can share with meeting participants. Participants will be asked to enter the password to join the meeting. Those who don’t have the password won’t be able to join your meeting. The waiting room feature allows the meeting host to determine when participants can enter the meeting.

The meeting host can admit attendees one-by-one or all at once. When you’re signed into Zoom, click the Schedule button to create a new meeting. Once your meeting has started, click the up arrow next to Share Screen, then click Advanced sharing options. Under Who can share? When you’re in your meeting, click Manage Participants in the Zoom toolbar.

You should see your meeting participants listed on the right-hand side of the screen. In the bottom right-hand corner, click the More button and select Lock Meeting. This prevents any new participants from joining the meeting, even if they have the meeting password. Some of my favorites are adjusting my video preferences: Check “Touch up my appearance” to add a filter to your webcam so you don’t need to put on makeup or shower before joining a Zoom Meeting from home we don’t judge , and check “Turn off my video when joining a meeting” so your face doesn’t inadvertently appear on a huge projector screen if you’re joining an all-hands meeting this has, unfortunately, happened to me.

If you’re holding a Zoom meeting that involves multiple cross-functional team members, or if you’re kicking off a long-term project, or even if one or two members of your team are out of the office, it’s a good practice to record those meetings for future reference. You can record meetings to your device or to the Zoom cloud for later reviewing to make sure everyone is on the same page.
